SERVICES

The services provided by the Dalhousie Law Students’ Society include:

 

• Funding for law student societies, to help them undertake initiatives and build community in the law school.
   

• A Condensed Annotated Notes database for students to access lecture and reading notes from previous years.
   

• Rolling evaluations performed mid-way through the term, for students to provide feedback to their professors while there is still time left in the course for the professor to adjust their teaching.
   

• Social events for law students, including formal and semi-formal events through its Social Committee.
   

• Opportunities to get involved in the Schulich School of Law, through appointment to a student-run or faculty committee.
   

• Table and Student Lounge bookings for events and promotions.
   

• Liaising with external groups such as the Canadian Bar Association, the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, and the Dalhousie Students’ Union.
